  1. This is freaking awesome. Your in our thoughts and prayers. Let us know if there is anything we can do.

  2. Hi Jason

My name is Chico Sanchez. I work for Huntington Beach F.D. Today a neighbor of yours name Jim came by Edwards Fire Station #6 to share your experience with us. He asked if we could support you in your endeavors. As soon as he said what you were doing I said “I will”. Two reasons: My 2nd oldest son just completed his walk across America. He left San Francisco on May 21, 2011 and landed yesterday on August 13, 2011 at the Capital in Washington D.C. His cause was for ProLife (against abortions http://www.crossroadswalk.org) It’s a Catholic organization. Four groups of ten started in Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, and Los Angeles, CA. which all met in D.C yesterday. My second reason is to make sure you know people are behind you for what you are doing. My words of encouragement to you is “Your Present is Your Future” What you do today becomes your tomorrow. So envision the “Win” You at the 911 memorial site. 🙂 Chico

  3. Hey Jason,

My name is Arlen – I enjoyed the opportunity to visit with you herein Sunny Downtown Shelton as you ate you lunch today. Most of the communities across this great state of Nebraska are protected by fire departments made up of close cohesive groups of volunteers sharing many of the same heart felt desires you posses – the desire to serve and protect friends, neighbors and comrades. Why? Because they can and because it is a need within our communities. I spent 18 yrs with our department here in town – also because of the desire to help others. The Nebraska Firefighters Museum, founded just two years ago this weekend, was founded to preserve Nebraska’s firefighting heritage, to foster public understanding of the impact and benefit of firefighting in regard to saving lives and possessions, to educate individuals about fire prevention and fire safety, and, to memorialize Nebraska firefighters. http://www.nebraskafirefightersmuseum.com/ I wish there would have been an opportunity for you to see it as you passed through this small part of this Great Nation. Jason, I admire the intestinal fortitude you have to do what you are doing and especially the why you are doing it.
